I need help everytime I try to download photos on my phone it puts the message "Screen overlay dected" and it's been happening for the past week I've called many times for help and no one has given a good solution pls help

Hi @ScaryMonst3r, this error results when an app is trying to overlay something on your screen while another app (Downloads in your case) tries to request permission to save files. There are a number of 3rd party apps that draw over other apps, so you can either temporarily disable screen overlays under (Settings > Application Manager > More > Apps that can appear on top), or uninstall them completely. Apps that commonly cause this issue are floating messaging apps, screen color changing apps, launchers, etc.
If you have disabled all screen overlays, next try to disable "One handed operation" from Settings > Advanced features > One-handed operation (disable both).
