Galaxy SHi Purple_Samurai,
We understand how frustrating battery issues can be, especially right after a major update like One UI 7. You're definitely not alone, and we appreciate you bringing it up. Here are a few steps that may help improve your battery performance:
Wipe Cache Partition. This can clear leftover system junk after the update:
Power off the phone.
Press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears.
Use the volume keys to highlight Wipe Cache Partition, then confirm with the Power button.
Once done, select Reboot system now.
Check Battery Usage: Go to Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge. Identify apps using excessive power and consider restricting or uninstalling them.
Update All Apps: Make sure all apps are up to date in both the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store, as outdated apps may misbehave after a system upgrade.
If the issue continues, please report it via the Samsung Members app: Support > Send feedback > Error reports > Battery
Your feedback helps Samsung's software team investigate and prioritize improvements.
We're keeping track of reports like yours, and we hope these steps help restore your device’s performance. Let us know how it goes!
