Galaxy SHi phani, Try toggling off the full screen and then reboot your phone and then toggle it back on.
Settings >> Display >> Full Screen Apps >> Select your desired app, and then tap "Full screen".
However, Some apps may not be optimized for the size of the Infinity Display, and may not completely fill the screen. Many apps can be resized to take full advantage of the expanded aspect ratio. There is an option to change the scale while running the app.
- Tap Recents, and tap the icon of the app you want to adjust.
- Tap Change app aspect ratio, and then tap OK to resize the app.

Galaxy SHi phani, Are you getting any error message when you try to set up the full screen? Could you please share some screenshots displaying the issue. I suggest you to backup your data and perform a reset and check if that could resolve the issue.

Please use the link to generate the error report from Samsung Members app so that our team can review the Log Files and will get back to you.
In step 5, please select "Application" category.
In step 6, Please check "send the system log data".
