I'm an English major and I lack the vocabulary to properly express my ANGER right now at Samsung and software developers. Anyone involved with this ATROCIOUS update needs to be hurled into the sun. I've lost the easy dropdown menu I loved and used ALL THE TIME and the 3D looking Icons, Bold Black fonts, and unwanted Black Background everywhere are horrendous. My phone is now a visually annoying migraine inducing vomifest.

YES!! What's with all the bold black? This update is giving me a migraine and I have never been so infuriated. I want my old icons back. Or to be able to download them again. As someone with health issues, I relied on the reliability and I am very upset with the lack of ability to adjust setting as they used to be.

Hi CWM24,

We’re truly sorry you're going through this — especially when accessibility, visual comfort, and consistency are so important. You're absolutely right to feel upset. The recent One UI changes have removed or altered a number of familiar elements, including icon styling, contrast, and customization options. We understand that for users with health concerns, these changes aren’t just cosmetic — they can be genuinely disruptive.

Please try the steps below to see if they help improve your experience:

Adjust Font Style
Go to: Settings > Display > Font size and style
Try selecting a thinner, non-bold font and reduce the font size or weight if needed.

We also strongly encourage submitting feedback through the Samsung Members app:
Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > UI/UX or Suggestions

The more users who report this, the more likely we are to see improvements or restoration of previous customization options in future updates.

Thank you for sharing your experience — we’re here to support you.
