Only hear static when phone calls made through car bluetooth

Hi, I have a Galaxy S6 and I can hear my phone calls through my car or my husband's truck. All I hear is static. Everything else comes through (music, text messages, navigation...), and I can make phone calls through Bluetooth with our Bose speaker. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi caitt, Please try to clear the cache and see if it works.
Go to Settings >> Apps >> System apps >> Search for Bluetooth app >> Storage >> Clear cache.

Please try to connect another phone to the car's Bluetooth and check if it is an issue with the car.

So, the problem came back and clearing the cache again is not helping. My husband's phone works in my car so I has to be my phone...

Please use the link to generate the error report from Samsung Members app so that our team can review the Log Files and will get back to you.

In step 5, please select "Application" category.

In step 6, Please check "send the system log data".

I wasn't able to follow the instructions, but I sent an error report by clicking the "!" under "get help". does that work?

still having the same issue. my husband has an iPhone and it works through my car....
