Not sure why, but the built in contacts app only used to show contacts with phone numbers. Now it's showing contacts with only email addresses. Is there a way to only show contacts with numbers?

What do you mean? You can see both numbers and email?

Go to contacts->3 dots->settings->other call settings. You should see the hide contacts without numbers option.Screenshot_20220129-221901_Call settings_20953_1643455141.jpg

Thanks. But that's in the phone app. Not the contacts app.

Hi @Nuko, thanks for reaching out. The Contacts app includes other contact details as it can be used to quickly contact users for other services such as e-mail and Google Duo whereas the Phone app is specifically for calls and texts, thus allows you to hide other types of contact details.

So, how to hide contacts without a phone number in the contacts app?

Hi Samsung Laura. I'm having the same issue but when Go to contacts->3 dots->settings->other call settings. You should see the hide contacts without numbers option.

It still only shows 2227 contacts on my phone but in gmail I have 2498.

Help please :)

I tried both and you can access this via both contact and phone app. Glad it worked. Cheers
