Order stuck on 'preparing dispatch'

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE on Friday 25 February. It took a day before I finally received my invoice and confirmation email, and the status of my order changed to 'preparing dispatch', where it has stayed since 26 February. According to Samsung's own FAQs, delivery should only take 1-2 business days and I should receive communication if there will be delays, and yet I've had no contact from Samsung since my purchase. How much longer can I expect to wait before my phone ships?

I've tried to use the live chat function to get help, but after filling out the initial prompts I have received NO REPLY. Honestly, what is the point of having a live chat if there isn't anyone actually chatting with you? If I can't find out what's going on, I will move to cancel my order and get a refund. I would have just bought from JB Hi Fi if I had realised the customer experience would be so poor at Samsung.

At the present our team have confirmed delays as a result of COVID and extreme weather preventing deliveries.

Don't be ridiculous. Every company facing this but they are still letting their customers know the estimated delivery date and delivering them on that date but Samsung is the worst. I ordered my s22 ultra on the 10th of Feb and it's still in customizing with no estimated dates. Meanwhile, in other countries, some people already received their customs color. When I ordered it saying 3 or 4 weeks for that color now it's already been more than 3 weeks.

You are right Its March 30th and I haven't received my order for s22 ultra  for which I paid on Feb 15th  for the custom color.

I see no point of pre order, not only there communication service but also production and shipping shipping service are worst. I would rather go for Apple.
They give us lame excuses to cover themselves for a $1700 value phone which is way more unprofessional.

I ordered my ultra in gray Feb 19th.its March 29th and still haven't gotten it. Stuck in dispatch it says. 3 hours to talk to someone and all I got was sorry.

So True. I preordered my S22 ultra at 2 15 am on 9th of Feb the hour it was released here in Australia. I have yet not received it. My fellow friends went to the store and have already received theirs. What is the point of PREORDERING if you don't receive it the day it is launched. The chat function lets not even talk about it. I waited 45 min for my turn to come behind 90 people and when my turn came it just says the chat was closed. GREATTTTTTTT. Very poor customer service. Kid crying in the background every single time when I am talking. They don't even understand the English properly. I love Samsung Products but here in Australia Customer Service is Terrible. Also another thing that makes me laugh. They have got 14 day return policy ONLY If the package is unopened. WAWOOOO So you guys expect me to pay 2000 on a smartphone, wait more than a month for it to arrive just have a surface look at it and then return it??? SERIOUSLYYYY Get this thing off if you don't know the meaning of RETURN POLICY. Learn from Apple. I bought 6000 dollar laptop tried it for a week wasn't happy with base version went to store and they returned it without a single question. THAT IS A RETURN POLICY. No wonder APPLE is far ahead on customer service. I am definitely putting these things in my Youtube channel. Keep an eye on my channel. AJ Techno Freak.

The same things happen to me.. Samsung is just terrible. it's high time to move into apple ecosystems.

**bleep**. You're acting as if it's even worth it to switch to a terrible basic ecosystem like Apple's where you lose ALL your OS customizability and too many features to list

Apple's situation is even WORSE than the current situaiton here at Samsung...My brother was quoted 2 weeks for his iPhone 13 Pro Max...took 3 months
