I heard that other storage is from deleted files and photos that are in the bin, If that is true then why do I have nothing in the bin but I still have 8gb used in other storage.

Hi @Corruptivity, 'Other' files can also include app data that is not part of the app itself. E.g cache data.

Hi @babababa20, thanks for reaching out. 

If you had your data backed up to a cloud such as Google Photos or One Drive, there may be a copy of the photos there.

If you deleted it from Gallery, you may be able to restore this within a certain time period. 

1. Open Gallery app > tap Menu.
2. Select Trash > tap Edit.
3. Select photos you want to restore > tap Restore.
