RCS chat. Can you turn off read receipt on one person?

I know on Apple you can specify the read receipt notification to a single person but has any one seen an option on Android? So far I only see it as on or off overall. 

Now that it works cross-platform, be nice to have the option to pick and choose certain people.

Hi Davew310,

You can turn read receipts on or off for all conversations, but not selectively for individual contacts.

In Google Messages, the read receipt feature (under RCS) can be enabled or disabled in the app settings.

Unfortunately, this applies to all contacts and not individually.

Suggest to google first then samsung will add feature?
