Routines for Work Profile

Hello,

We have a convenient toggle in the notification shade (Quick Settings panel) to turn the Work Profile on or off.

Is there a way to automate turning it on or off based on location?

P.S.: The Tasker app does not currently support controlling the Work Profile.

You can do it based on location or time of the day. Might need to use automation

Hi 1Pedro,

Samsung’s Modes & Routines app allows location-based automation. While it can’t directly toggle Work Profile, you can try:

Set up a Routine:

• Trigger: When you arrive at a specific location (e.g., work).
• Action: Open your Work Profile apps (forcing them to activate).
• Action: Connect to work Wi-Fi or turn on Bluetooth for work devices.

While this won’t fully enable/disable the Work Profile, it ensures work apps are ready when you arrive.

If your Work Profile is company-managed, your IT admin may have disabled automation for security reasons. Please check with you IT admin.

Thank you, Helenna, for providing these tips on enabling the work apps. My concern is actually disabling them when I'm not at the office. Any idea how to automatically disable the work apps?
