Hey! Starting from when I got the phone I always got only around 3-4 hrs of SOT and thats with charging the phone every night and every middle of the day.

The battery drains really fast but I only scroll through socmeds and play music on it. No gaming and other heavy tasks ://

Somethings running on the background that you dont see or maybe its an software issue.. One ui 4.1 literally have that issue including heating. Try updating ur phone to one ui 5.0

Is there any way to check if a background or system app is ruining the battery? I have it on one ui 5.0 and I really thought it was gonna fix it

Did you check it on the developer options running services or in the device care battery usage

Actually when I was using the Galaxy S21 Ultra back in 2021, I also encountered this.

The most prominent cause is the refresh rate and the display resolution, if both are maxed out it'll really cripple the battery.

So most of the time, the refresh rate of my screen, along with the resolution is set to standard - for social media and binge watching.

I would bump them up once I start gaming.

Really can't have it all I guess 😅. I'll try setting the reso back to 1080p and see if it helps. I just can't go back to 60hz my eyes will burn haha. Thank youu!

I know what you mean, but really it is just a matter of knowing when to utilize the features or, just live with it and just plug it in when needed.
