My S23+ overheated after I installed the new update. This is the first time since I bought the unit that I experienced overheating (particularly the top part of the phone)

Before I downloaded the new software update, I was using Twitter, Tiktok and Facebook. After update installation, the unit gradually increased temperature. What I did was restart the phone, turned off Wi-Fi, mobile data, and do not disturb. After a few minutes, it started to cool down.

I'm starting to regret my decision to install. Has anyone experienced this issue too? What did you do to avoid unit overheating?

Hi! I just updated my S22 Ultra. I just saw that this update has a lot of improvements on the S23 series, maybe that's why.. Just let it cool down for a bit and let's hope it's just temporary because of all the updates. Cheers!

Thanks! I'm using my phone now. So far, if I restart the unit, there's minimal temperature rise. It cools down after about 30mins though. I really hope the overheating issue is temporary. I'll try the other suggestion too if it won't improve.

Hopefully.. 🤞
I'm actually envious with your series upgrades. Hahaha

I looked up the process of wiping cache partition. Does it really need to be plugged into a PC to access the recovery mode?
