My S23+ overheated after I installed the new update. This is the first time since I bought the unit that I experienced overheating (particularly the top part of the phone)

Before I downloaded the new software update, I was using Twitter, Tiktok and Facebook. After update installation, the unit gradually increased temperature. What I did was restart the phone, turned off Wi-Fi, mobile data, and do not disturb. After a few minutes, it started to cool down.

I'm starting to regret my decision to install. Has anyone experienced this issue too? What did you do to avoid unit overheating?

It's a good practice to perform after every update. I also include "Repair Apps" after doing the wipe.

I see.

I just click repair apps while on recovery mode?

Yes, Wipe Cache Partition first and then Repair Apps.
