Galaxy SHey Guys, I just did a review comparing the S23 Ultra vs the S22 Ultra. I wiped my S22 Ultra, loaded it with the same Google account, had the same number of apps installed, turned on the same background services and set the screen brightness and resolution to match on both phones. I got 20% more battery life on the S23 Ultra and 8 hours of SOT even with almost MAX screen brightness, adaptive refresh and max screen resolution. It's not just hype, but check out my video if you want to see it tested.

Galaxy SHey, totally realistic because I had both phones set to like almost the max brightness, just one level down from when it prompts you that it will experience heavier battery drain. If I put the screen brightness to half or adaptive, I could have easily got more time, but I also wanted to drain the batteries fast at the same time for the test.

Galaxy SThanks for watching -ACon-! Yep, the battery life is a great quality of life improvement and more impactful day to day than the camera upgrade. What do you normally set your screen brightness to for daily use? Do you run the phone with the max resolution as well btw? Thanks for sharing your SOT data, it's great to see a wide range of battery life.

Galaxy SThat's great. Yea, that's the thing about reviews, everyone's usage habits are so different that it can't be 100% applied to your usage, but it's great to see that you're coming in with 9 hours SOT with your usage.
