Galaxy SHi!
I've been using Onedrive syncin for photos/videos for a long time on this phone and previous S22 ultra phone. Now it's somehow broken...
Can it only be me or is someone else also having problems with gallery syncing lately? Mine stopped partially working 14.9.2024 and it just says "Last sync 14.9 10:18". But that's not the last sync really. It still syncs (automatically or when i say it to sync) files, but only SMALL files! It took some time to figure this out, but the size limit is somewhere around ~2Mb. Basically every photo I take is larger than 2Mb and it doesn't sync them. But when it downscale the picture to ~1,5Mb then it syncs it. But it still says that "last sync 14.9".
So basically all photos and videos are not syncing now which is not nice. But when I go to accounts and see my Onedrive account it has this option (roughly translated from Finnish) "Synchronize account" and it has a setting "sync removed from all files". When i click that theres a switch I can push "Media chooser" (or something like that in English). When I click that it starts to upload EVERYTHING (all sizes) to a totally new folder. And it seems that folder has all the files from Gallery mixed into one big crazy directory without different folders.
Hope someone can help or at least is having the same issue! :)

Galaxy SHi grendy,
We are sorry to hear that you are facing an unusual issue with OneDrive syncing on your Samsung device, where only small files are syncing properly, and larger files such as full-resolution photos or videos are not syncing.
Check OneDrive Storage Space: Ensure you have enough available space in your OneDrive account. Open the OneDrive app on your phone or on the web and check your storage status.
Update OneDrive and Samsung Gallery: Make sure both the OneDrive app and the Samsung Gallery app are up to date. Outdated versions might cause syncing issues.
Visit the Google Play Store and update both apps to the latest version.
Manually Resync Photos and Videos: Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > OneDrive > Sync now to force a manual sync. This may bypass any issues with automatic syncing.
If that doesn't work, try turning off the OneDrive sync for the Gallery, then re-enable it. Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Sync Gallery with OneDrive and toggle it off and back on again.
Please try the above troubleshooting steps and check if they might help to solve the issue.
Thank you.

Galaxy SHi!
-Yes i have plenty of space in Onedrive, 112,7Gb / 1029Gb used.
-I updated both apps, well Gallery didn't have an update but I even joined Onedrive beta-program and it updated itself. No change :(
-Went to settings --> ... Samsung cloud and ticked Gallery off and on again and no change
Again this morning my wife sent me two Whatsapp images, 1,2Mb and 800Kb and they synced themselves without any problem. I tried some other stuff also just now:
I took two pictures with the camera; one blurry 700Kb pic and one clear 6,5Mb pic. They didn't sync, not even the small one. By default they were in the camera folder and the camera folder is selected to be synced in sync settings (and it has synced before 14.9.2024). I moved both the files to another folder that has been syncing with small files only and yes, the smaller blurry pic did sync but the big file didn't!
I'm really confused with this logic and behaviour. Yesterday I emtied Gallery&Onedrive cache and removed all data from them both and restarted the phone. Didn't help. I removed the permissions to all Samsung related from Onedrives settings with the browser and gave it new permissions: didn't help. The sync is still working barely with some folders and small file sizes so the problem is not the connection between Samsung and Onedrive. It has to be some weird setting with Gallery app and/or Onedrive sync. Even though it did sync those 3 different files today it still says "Previous sync: 14.09. 10.18"

Galaxy SI'll answer to myself because I think I finally solved it! At least the date on the "last synced" updated and the main Camera-folder already synced and other folder is syncing at the moment, so it can't go wrong anymore (knock knock) 😄
I tried a million things but here's the solution IF anyone can repeat my problem: You have to deselect ALL folders from the settings that specify which folders you want to sync. Deselect all and then click "Sync now". Then it managed to update the date for the "last synced" part. And after that one-by-one (just to be sure) select folders that you want to sync and click manual sync and it starts to do it's magic. Don't know if if would've worked if you selected all the folders at once, but I'm debugging just to be sure.

Galaxy SAlmost the same problem. How I resolved: Settings - Device Care - Storage. Then I removed all Invisible backups.

Galaxy SYes, this, thanks for posting! Worked for me after weeks of not syncing, clearing cache, reconnecting accounts etc. :)
