We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with your S Pen’s media controls. We understand how convenient it is to use the S Pen to play or pause music and videos.
If the S Pen Air actions suddenly stopped working as expected after a recent update, it’s possible that a system change or a bug may have affected the feature. Let's go through a few things to help:
Check Air Actions Settings: Go to Settings > Advanced features > S Pen > Air actions. Make sure Air actions are enabled. Tap the App actions section and verify if your media apps (like YouTube, Spotify, Samsung Music, etc.) still have the Play/Pause command assigned to a gesture like single press.
Reset Air Actions: If everything looks right but it’s still not working: Go to Settings > Advanced features > S Pen > Air actions. Tap the 3-dot menu > Reset S Pen remote. Then test the S Pen again.
Check App Permissions and Compatibility: Sometimes third-party apps may need to be updated to support new firmware. Make sure the media apps you're using are up to date via the Galaxy Store or Play Store.
