Galaxy SGot my new S24, i have about 5 pages worth of apps set to 5x6 on the apps screen grid.
QHD resolution and 120HZ refresh rate. When I go back and forth between two pages, I can see a very noticable jitter when apps are being rendered on the new page. It feels very unnatural, or feels more like 120hz forced on 60hz, is anyone else having a similar issue? are there any developer settings that can tweak this? I have tried enabling refresh rate and FPS on top, they don't seem to change when swiping between pages.
I've had other Galaxy phones previously, never seen anything like this on 120hz.
Any help will be much appreciated! :)

Galaxy SHi iProphet3, we apologize for the inconvenience you are facing.
Some devices may take longer to fully optimize. The reason behind this is that the power management algorithm software continuously learns your usage pattern and behaviour so that your device's power can be used efficiently. Therefore, while very rare, you may notice some drops in performance in the beginning.
Other Members may be more knowledgeable, but from our observation of the video you provided, unfortunately, we could not see the 'jittery' part. It would be helpful if you could point out a specific timeframe in the video.
There are further steps you can take and hopefully they will solve the issue:
- Clear 'One UI Home' cache: go to 'Settings', 'Apps', search for 'One UI Home', 'Storage', and clear cache;
- Clear 'System UI' cache: go to 'Settings', 'Apps', click the filter and sort button and turn the 'Show system apps' toggle on, search for 'System UI', and clear cache.
If the jitter still persists, then you may try resetting your phone or contact Samsung customer service, although we hope it won't be the case.

Galaxy SHi iProphet3, usually a lag can occur especially when the device is new and is still in the setup/optimization process. It may take a few hours or days for the device to be fully running optimally, so we recommend checking again after a few hours if the issue still persists. You can also try GG2's solution (wipe cache partition).

Galaxy SThank you for your suggestion everyone.
Hi, yes it's common for new devices to undergo setup and optimization processes, potentially causing some initial lag.
Give it a bit of time, and if the issue persists please get back to us, we are always here to help you.

Galaxy SThanks for the quick replies and suggestions guys, I appreciate it.
I've had the phone setup for 3 days now, does it take that long for it to optimize? Sorry if that's obvious, i've always been oblivious.
I tried wiping the cache partition, didn't seem to make a difference.
The issue only appears to be in the App Menu grid, no where else. The home screen is smooth and apps load instantaneously. I've already used the developer options to reduce the animation time to .5 for most animations, but this doesn't seem to have any effect on the swiping.
I've created a short 20 second screen recording to better explain the issue.
Towards the end you'll notice the jittery/force 120hz issue.

Galaxy SLegend Ben, clearing the cache on both One UI Home and System UI resolved the issue.
Apologies if it wasn't clear in the video. :)
