Hi there,

I got a S20+ for a few days and I really like it but there are 2 things concering the Samsung Alarm App that really bother me.

1.) Why is there no option to deactivate the automatic volume increase during alarm ringing? Or is it somewhere and I just didn't find it?

2.) Even on minimum volume level and even when selecting a rather silent alarm it is still way too loud if I compare it with other smartphones and their default alarm apps. Is there any option to decrease it further? Maybe with developer settings?

go to clock app then tap on alarm, then tap the 3 dots on upper right corner, then settings, then tap on sounds, then alarm sound bar will pop up below set your alarm volume. :)

Hey MahatmaAndi,
Please follow the steps below and check if it works fine.
Open the Clock app> Tap Alarm> Tap the alarm you wish to change or tap the add icon to set a new one > Tap Alarm sound > Tap Selected ringtone> Tap the alarm sound you would like to use> If you'd like to use your own music as an alarm tap the add icon> The Sound picker will find the audio files you have saved on your phone. Tap the song you'd like to use as your ringtone> The Sound picker will choose a highlight section from the song. If you'd like to use the whole song, tap the Highlights only switch to turn it off> Tap Done > Once you have selected your alarm sound tap the back arrow > Tap the back arrow again > Tap Save.
You can also change the alarm volume.
Open the Clock app> Tap Alarm> Tap the alarm you want to change or tap the add icon to set a new one> Tap Alarm sound> Move the volume slider to adjust the volume> Tap the back icon> Tap Save.
