Samsung Internet browser, under Settings, "Delete browsing data", it says I have 1155 cookies, yet when I go to Settings, "Sites and Downloads", "Manage Website Data", I only see about 50 sites.
How can I manage the other 1000 cookies?
I asked Support but the answer wasn't helpful.
Thanks.

Hi Anunusedname,

To manage the other cookies, here are a few steps you can follow:

Clear all cookies: The easiest way to clear all cookies (including those from sites not listed in "Manage Website Data") is to use the Delete browsing data option:

  • Open Samsung Internet.
  • Go to Settings > Privacy > Delete browsing data.
  • Choose Cookies, site data and select Delete. This will remove all cookies from websites, including those not visible in "Manage Website Data".

If you want more control over which cookies to delete, you can continue to review the cookies listed under Settings > Sites and Downloads > Manage Website Data. This list shows the websites where data has been stored, but not all cookies will appear here.

To delete cookies for specific sites, tap on the website name in the list and select Delete. You can clear cookies for individual sites here.

If cookies are still building up, you can also clear your cache and other site data from the Delete browsing data section to prevent further buildup:

In the Delete browsing data menu, you can select Cached images and files, and optionally, Browsing history and Site data to clear.

Clearing these can sometimes remove additional site data, including hidden cookies.

You can set a routine of clearing your cookies regularly if you prefer to manage them manually, or you can use Incognito Mode for private browsing to avoid saving cookies at all.

Thank you.

Thanks, but I don't want to delete all my cookies, I just want to see and manage the ones I can't see under " manage website data".
I do regularly clear my histories and caches yet I continue to see over 1000 cookies under "Delete browsing data"
