An update happened for me a few days ago and my fingerprint still works without having to redo it all.

Yea my fingerprint often doesnt work when my fingertips are dry. Now that it's cold it makes it more troublesome.

My fingerprints would barely work at all. I removed all prints and re did it. works fine now.

That's likely to be related to the recent FP Patch & nothing to do with the Security Patch OTA.

@shaggy, absolutely. just took that long to get irritated by it that it created second a false culprit.

Initially I got the same issue after an update. But when I deleted and re-did it then it worked.
