Galaxy SSome factors can effect your screen especially if you had an old model Samsung. Say back in the day you often put the brightness more than 50%, or using same wallpaper in a good amount of time, etc. That's become the defect of having Amoled screen. Sometimes we'll also found some people got burn-in screen? Like the layout of the keyboard and the app logo will slightly noticeable on the background. I've been using Samsung device since galaxy note 2 was released a long time ago. I always tried to use the lowest brightness as possible. Since you're phone already showing these greenish layer, I suggest yout to do a research on internet first. I've read people do something with it. Like downloading app that can readjust the color of your screen or whatever. But if it's not solving your problem, sadly you might have to come to Samsung Service Centre. I remember back in the end of 2019 if I'm not mistaken, All Samsung Galaxy Note 9/9+ user get a free lcd replacement as a complement from Samsung. So if you're using S8 (based on your hashtag)?? Sadly, you might have to replace your screen.

Galaxy SRegarding the brightness, I normally only use like 10% brightness during the day and will slide the brightness to the most left at night. Kinda weird but that's the setting my eyes are most comfortable with.
I love changing wallpaper too.
I will search on the app that hopefully can resolve this issue.
It just happens so randomly like several times per day, like when I'm watching youtube/netflix, when I browse the Web, or in socmed. So there's no fixed moment.
However, I just tried to adjust the brightness rapidly from dark to bright and somehow it did trigger the screen crash. Interesting.
Yes, I'm using s8 and it's out of warranty. Is there any chance I will get a free lcd replacement too? 😄
I don't wanna pay for the screen replacement because I heard it can be expensive.
Thanks again, Rio.

Galaxy SAnd talking about the free screen replacement, I don't think you can get free one. Since the one that they gave to Note 9 user is a limited offer. The Note 9 user can only had it until the end of December 2019. A very short notice because I also find it out where people talking about it in the forums. Samsung didn't announce it officially but I'm not quite sure. I might be missed their announcement 😁 What happened too, those Note 9 user also got a free battery replacement too at the same time! Such an interesting offer right? I don't know what sort of reason why samsung giving those free offer. Almost like a recall. Hard to say but I also think all models below S9 or Note 9 nowadays is just become a history. The only support us by providing the spare parts now 😔
