Smart View Not Finding TV

I used to use Smart View to connect to my Sharp Roku TV all the time. A few months ago it wouldn't find my TV and I didn't think anything of it so thought I wasn't connected wifi properly, maybe. Then again I tried shortly after that, same thing. Tried again today, same thing. Am I missing something? Same phone, wifi network, TV, everything the same. Phone up to date etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Note: I haven't tried Smart View with another TV yet but I haven't needed to. If there is no solution I'll check that out eventually. Thanks.

Hi could you please help me with the model number of the device ?

Also while connecting the device are you getting error message ?

I'm not where the TV is at the moment but it is not coming up as discoverable at all.

I have the same issue. It fails to find the TV. Both are on the same network. This worked previously.

They must have changed something. I can't connect other ways but not smart view. Maybe it's a privacy thing that changed and they don't want to remove the app?
