Fight for the Cap:
Teams were divided to diverse groups and someone would pick up random person name from the magic bag and question to ask. Steven appreciated Canadian members so much that whenever he selected a name from the magic bag, it would be a Canadian member. Our own Einstein Cameron, remembered all the questions and answers from our group and won the Cap. (some newspapers argued that the game was easy as Cameron did not have to recall names of the Thailand members.).
After the event there was a cocktail party (pineapple juice party for nondrinkers). We connected with fascinating people across the world and enjoyed absolute pleasant time. Not to forget the struggle from photographers to capture good pictures! The struggle was real that Shellie had to hire Sherlock Holmes to find Steven, so that photographer can take our group photo. As per the legends photographer went missing and never came back during the party!
We had really tasty buffet dinner and invited Japan team to join us. It was extraordinary to interact with Samsung top management and see how down to earth they are. Shellie made sure that Japan team is not shy after the event and had some great time with them (from next day, one of the members from Japan absolutely experienced deep impact). Few members enjoyed visiting Times Square after the event and get ready for the big next day.
Workshops, Cruise, the Lion King – fun unlimited:
After filling up our tanks, we started for the numerous workshops. I, Cameron and Shellie made award winning animation where driver found driving bullock cart without driving license and eventually broke the cart. Insurance companies are refusing to provide money back for the damage done. I was interrogated by camera crew of what we were doing, and you may find if it gets published, that I absolutely had no clue! It was an interesting activity, and I am really looking forward to creating more award-winning animations.
For the following activity we combined our forces with Thailand and turkey where we had to find lost crowns of the queen. Bixby was heading our team for this challenge and assisted us to find the crowns. After that we were given a chance to use S Pen and illustrate. Our guide was from Houston, and she genuinely loved Pigs and strawberries. Steven found it unacceptable that in some of her illustrations pig eats all strawberries and there is nothing left. Meanwhile LG TV in the room was convincing people to use Samsung TV by disconnecting from the phone now and then. At the end of the activity we were all surprised by how S Pen assists us draw better. We went spending our afternoon at Gotham Market and had some fun out there.
The world’s best bus drivers transported us to boat cruise from the overcrowded New York City, and we enjoyed fantastic time by eating delicious food, taking pictures of Brooklyn Bridge and Statue of Liberty. After the boat cruise, we experienced one of the best live show – The Lion King. How can you make it even better? By interacting with the crew members! It was such a memorable day and eve more exciting day was expecting us tomorrow.
