Galaxy SHey Rei1,
Using Gestures removes the Navigation Bar from the bottom of the screen of Samsung Galaxy devices and requires you to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to activate the Recents, Home and Back buttons. It's a little tricky to get used to, but it means you get 100% of the Infinity display to use rather than having the bottom of the screen taken up by the Navigation Bar. It looks pretty amazing when you're watching videos or playing games; but it's also great for reading and using split-screen to view two apps at once.
Open the Settings app and select the Display option> Scroll down and select Navigation Bar> Tap the radio button to switch to Gestures> Select whether or not you'd like to use Gesture Hints( They'll appear as lines at the bottom of the screen rather than full sized buttons).
If the problem persists, please use the below link to generate the error report from the Samsung Members app so that our team can review the Log Files and will get back to you.
In step 5, please select the "Application" category.
In step 6, Please check "send the system log data".

Galaxy SI'm currently using gestures and it's working as intended, however my issue stems from the change android 10 introduced, where when you're in a fullscreen app you can no longer use a simple one swipe gesture, instead now you need to double swipe which creates issue in apps that utilize scrolling (because of the double swipe I inadvertently scroll in the app while going to the home screen/change to a different app).
In android 9, even in fullscreened apps you used to be able to single swipe to the home screen/to other apps.
I was hoping there would perhaps be an option to add back the single swipe as an option for users who dislike the new method of swapping out of full screen apps.

Galaxy SHe is not complaining about the gestures themselves. The problem is that in applications that are in full screen mode, 1 gesture won't be enough for the recentes, home or back buttons to work. When u swipe once, the status bar at the top of the phone will show up and then u have to swipe a 2nd time to actually leave the app. In any android I've used before in Gestures mode, 1 swipe was enough to make it work even in full screen mode.
I also find it annoying that Samsung needs 2 swipes when we are trying to leave an app in full screen mode.

Galaxy Sthe new gesture navigation makes you to swipe one time from the bottom to go to homescreen even if you are using full screen app.
Under Navigaition bar settings, Click Swipe Gestures and under swipe gestures we have two options,
1. Swipe from the bottom
2. Swipe from the sides and bottom
if you are selecting the second option which is Swipe from the sides and bottom then you need to do only 1 time swipe to reach homescreen while using fullscreen app.
if you are selecting First option which is swipe from the bottom then you have to swipe two time to reach homescreen while using home screen.
For you, Second option will be good, Only one time swipe.
please let me know if it helps or not.
I think it should help, I just tried that in my phone for you.

Galaxy SI tried the second gesture option and found it to be even worse of a user experience compared to the first gesture option. In the end, I believe the android 9 gesture with single swipe ability is still far superior compared to he two options on android 10 :/.

Galaxy SThanks for trying to help, but my next phone will definitely be from a different company. I'm not a fan of what Samsung is doing, and they seem to keep making things worse with every iteration of one ui.
