Hi Djamel89,

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where the 5GHz Wi-Fi is disconnecting on your Galaxy S24 FE, while the 2.4GHz connection remains stable.

The 5GHz band has a shorter range compared to 2.4GHz, so ensure your router is placed in a location that provides good coverage for your phone. Try moving closer to the router to test if distance is a factor.

Forget and Reconnect to 5GHz Network: Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi. Tap the 5GHz network you're trying to connect to, then select Forget. Reconnect by selecting the network again and entering the password.

If the above steps don't work, try resetting your network settings: Go to Settings > General management > Reset. Tap Reset network settings, then confirm. This will reset Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth settings, so you’ll need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi networks afterward.

To rule out issues with your router, try connecting another device to the 5GHz network. If it disconnects as well, the issue might be with the router.

Thank you.

Hello Helenna,

Thanks for your reply.

No matter how far I am from the modem, the 5ghz keeps disconnecting all the time.

I have already done all these steps and the result is the same.

I have other devices connected to the 5ghz, television, computer and IPhone and they have no problem.

I will live with this problem until I get tired of it and change my phone!
