Galaxy SI've upgraded my Dlink wireless extenders (ac) with new WIFI 6 Mesh Extenders (ax). The S20+ Network (link) speed will not exceed 54Mbs when connected to the ax mesh which is backhauled to my LAN switch at 1Gbs. All other devices attached to the ax Mesh network exceed 400 - 700 Mbs. Devices such as iphone, Blackberry, ipad, Xbox, smart TV and laptops. I've tried all the steps suggested in other posts from" forgetting the network" to ...... "System network reset" to no avail. My multitude of trouble shooting steps leads me to conclude the issue is related to the S20+ not working with ax Mesh Networks at full capacity. Although the specs indicates it support the ax standard. Other further troubleshooting steps that led me to this conclusion :
1. The S20+ exceeds 300 Mbs on ac extender networks (my old one on the current LAN infrastructure with another SSID that is only turned up for testing)
2. The S20+ exceeds 80Mbs on g and n networks that I created separately for testing.
3. I've the latest updates for the S20+.
4. I've tested the S20+ with it being the only device on the ax Mesh Network and it is still limited to 54Mbps.
4. The issued can be reproduced on a S20 5G that I borrowed for testing.
5. The Wifi analyzer and the ax network both show that the S20+ and S20 is connected on the 5Ghz band.
Is there a fix for this?

Galaxy SHi, we suggest you to check with Wi-Fi extender if there is any firmware available.
You can also try backup and reset the phone and check again.
Here are the steps to backup your data: Backup from Samsung account--Apps > Settings > Cloud > Backup > Select the data > Back up now. Backup from Google account--Apps > Settings > Backup > Select the data > Back up now.
Here are the steps for factory reset, settings >> General management >> Reset >> Factory data reset >> Scroll down to the bottom and tap on Reset >> Delete All.

Galaxy SThank you for your suggestions. I'd done the reset of the phones. The web UI management of the Mesh AP's (D-link DAP-X1870) indicated that they had the latest firmware. However, your suggestion triggered an old troubleshooting memory and I went hunting for a newer firmware and came across a beta release. I uploaded it to the AP's and it worked. I now get 1Gbps on the S20+ 5G and S20 5G.
Please beware that the Beta does have a bug and the release notes does not mention this issue. After the firmware update, the AP's will no longer recognize the admin password or the default. You will have to reset the AP's to factory defaults and reconfigure from scratch.
I believe that the cause of the issue was the AP's was negotiating the link with the S20's down to 802.11a from ax. The Beta release must have increased the handshake interval.
Again, Thank you for your help and hope this post will help other folks avoid a tedious troubleshooting task. I await the production release from D-Link.
