Wifi Issue after Android 13 update

I am having wifi connectivity issues after updating to Android 13. I have tried almost everything I could find and it seems alot of users are experiencing the same thing. My patience are running thin as how a $2k flagship could have such issues. Complete incompetence. Will be switching to IOS

I am having the same issues with my Note 20 Ultra. It started after I updated my android to 13. I have tried resetting the network but to no avail. It's frustrating that I have to deal with this situation.

Unplug your router for 1 min and plug it back in.

If the problem is the wifi setting on the phone is disabled/wont turn on, how will reseting the router fix it?  The problem exists regardless of location.

 

The button is grayed out and will not turn blue.

I have the same issue.

Samsung s20 FE 5G

I was forced to upgrade to Android 13 - One UI Version 5.0

The wifi drops constantly then picks back up. Sometimes it does not pick up again and I have to go into my wifi settings and select my SSID.

 

I have reset the network settings.

I have factory reset the phone as well.

It still is happening. I'm guessing there is no solution.

 

I was having no issues until this update. I require my phone for wifi calling as I live rurally...pretty awful.

I'm also having issues with WiFi on the latest update on my S22 Ultra. Any 5GHz network or WiFi 6 Access Point provides connected without internet. Absolutely awful from Samsung!

Same issue with my S20 FE. Wifi connection drops, reconnects in seconds, drops again and does not reconnect...have to swipe down, select wifi and choose my network which is clearly visable.

I'm having the same issue on my S20 Plus after the Android 13 update. I kept noticing my cloud backups being paused saying "waiting for WiFi"... I checked and the phone was saying that it was waiting for the WiFi connection to improve.

However, no other device in my household was having any issues with the Wifi. I even ran diagnostic tests on network from my laptop (including speed tests) and everything was fine.

The single device in my house that had an issue was the Galaxy S20 Plus.

Clicking WiFi off then on again solved the issue, but it keeps coming back. I think this may be an issue a lot of people have but don't notice since their phone will just switch to mobile/cell data when this happens.
