When i ask bixby to play a song, it wants to setup spotify, but i dont use spotify, i use youtube music. My search shows suggestions to set this in the bixby app clicking a magnifying glass icon but my bixby app doesn't have this. What to do to set youtube music so I can ask bixby to play a specific song?

Hi PeterPierre,

It looks like Bixby isn't currently able to set YouTube Music as the default music service directly. This is a known limitation, and Bixby integrates primarily with Spotify for music playback. Unfortunately, the setting you’re looking for may not be available just yet.

Here’s what you can do for now:

Set YouTube Music as your default music player: Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Music app. Select YouTube Music as the default.

While Bixby can’t directly launch YouTube Music and play a specific track, you can still say something like “Open YouTube Music” to launch the app, and then select the song manually.

If Bixby asks to set up Spotify, reply, “No” or “Cancel.” It should then attempt to use your default music player.

Thank you.

Thank you. That's really unfortunate. Any ideas why this limitation? My default apps doesn't show music as an option.
