I bought this phone a month ago and was ok in the beginning but it started to develop this clicking sound when openening and closing, kinda noise too. I compared it to other flip6 and they're smother and not noise so I'm not sure if this is normal.

Hi isabel111,

The clicking sound you're hearing when opening and closing your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 might be related to the hinge mechanism.

Please check for physical obstructions like Dust, dirt, or small particles may have entered the hinge, causing the noise. Ensure the hinge area is clean by gently wiping it with a soft, lint-free cloth.

You can try performing a soft reset or clearing the cache partition. This sometimes helps with any minor glitches, though a mechanical issue like clicking is typically hardware-related.

Turn Off your phone. Press and hold the Power button and select Power off.

Boot into Recovery Mode: Once the phone is off, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears, then release both buttons.

Navigate Recovery Options: Use the Volume Down button to navigate through the options and highlight Wipe Cache Partition.

Select Wipe Cache Partition: Press the Power button to select it. Use the Volume Down button to highlight Yes and confirm by pressing the Power button.

Reboot the Device:Once the process is complete, you'll be brought back to the main recovery menu. Highlight Reboot system now using the Volume keys and press the Power button to restart your device.

This process does not delete your personal data, so all your apps, files, and settings will remain intact. It only clears temporary system files that may be causing performance issues or glitches.

If the problem continues, visiting a Samsung Authorized Service Center is recommended, as they can inspect and fix the hinge under warranty.

well I'd dump the phone now before you're totally screwed, because pretty soon your inner screen will go black and Samsung will not fix it for anything less that $385 bucks!!  They will null your warranty right out!!  Their products are failing millions of people and they don't care!!!
