Here are a few steps you can try to narrow down the cause:

Reset network settings: Settings → General management → Reset → Reset network settings. This clears saved Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data configurations, which can sometimes resolve intermittent issues.

Check SIM & APN: Ensure your SIM is properly seated and your APN settings match your carrier’s recommendations.

Test in Safe Mode: Press and hold Power → tap and hold Power off → select Safe Mode. If the problem doesn’t occur here, a third-party app may be the cause.

Contact your carrier: Since the phone shows a signal but apps can’t connect, your provider may need to refresh your line or re-provision data. In some cases, a SIM replacement resolves similar reports.
