Ui 4 update in Canada

Why is Canada always the last country to receive updates?  I bought the fold z 3. Hoping that the updates would come sooner. Last update was Nov 1 2021

That's Samsung Canada for ya. That's why I haven't used a Canadian Rom since 2015. Been very happy with that decision. I got one UI 4 beta on my note 20 in November and 2weeks ago got the stable update. I also changed my girlfriend's Note 10 plus to the US rom and now she has Android 12 one UI 4 on her Note 10 and also now on the January security patch . Mine while in Canada these devices are still on Android 11 🤦🏽

How do I change my rom to USA if you don't mind to help me

Just download the rom directly from Samsung, Samfrew, or sammobile. Download the U1 firmware version of your phone, also get the unlocked roms from Samsung CSC will be XAA that's the carrier-free rom. For the z fold you have to download F711U1UES2BUL9 this Rom and flash it with odin. Its the android 12 one ui4 update for the unlocked zfold 3 USA variant

But updating to us rom won't provide software updates over the air right? We have to manually flash evey update?

I get all software updates OTA. Monthly security updates and major updates all are seeded to the corresponding firmware builds.

If you flash to say a Verizon or AT&T ROMs you have to get their sim cards to get major OTA but the monthly security updates come OTA.
If you get the unlocked ROM from Samsung (XAA U1) it's carrier-free and gets OTA updates on ALL updates. Some other carriers like T-Mobile do push out major updates that aren't sim dependent also.

The XAA CSC is unbranded direct OTA updates from Samsung. That's what I always get and I'm using my Rogers sim.
