Well kiddos, I'm back. Just about made probable mistake to fix a problem.
(1)50" CU7000 4K UHD UN50CU7000FXZC Smart TV,
(2)Q-Series Soundbar HW-Q800C
(3)UBD-M8500 Blu-ray/ dvd player.
Somewhere within the 3 items bears a problem that I've never seen before or heard of. First off will tell you #'s 1&2 are less than a month old, 3 is the last player Samsung made which I purchased shortly after realease.
When to play the series X-men for the umpteenth time. All BR Discs. First was "Wolverine Origins" (2 discs). Both played fantastic with perfect sound and color. Disc 3 was "First Class" but this where trouble started. Sound playback was broken up which seemed to me to be the S/B was jumping channels. As some dialog was perfect whereas some was barely audible. At firs thogh it was my service provider (Shaw), as been having problems with them with both pic & sound but never at same times, so I did a complete system reboot to no avail. Then I remembered that a gent from here advised me the there were black out problems with # 1&2, but the way i was explained made it sound like a Backlight or Pixel problem, but as I'd bought 3 yr warranty. But like I said before, it appeared to be the S/B, so I've bought a new one a Q-900 series, which is still a week away from delivery.
Then I read that most of the dvd players manufactured beyond a decade ago won't play Blu-ray. Does this mean (if true) that no new Blu-ray disc will not work so I'd be wasting my money & have to go back UHD DVD's If such exists. I've even gone into the system settings but found nout out of line. Hope you can assist as I had just got my system exactly the way I wanted it to be. At least until I stupidity damaged my 58" sceen. 1&2 came as a bundle & as the TV other than size (50"), was identical & the S/B was a higher unit than the other, so I got the bundle. It has played better than before until very recently. I'm so very upset about what was printed in my online review of my present machine. If this is true,I'll just have to go elsewhere like LG or Panasonic, but how is that the solution if as started, it won't be long & NOBODY will be building these players. Cheers Oldbroad
