Excuse me, Samsung, but did you just place an ad in my notifications?!?! It was for "Nynja 7 in 1 Tools" or some such nonsense. Don't even come back to me saying it was just a regular notification either. It was for software that I DO NOT have installed, that was trying to entice me to install it, and Samsung was compensated by someone to place it in people's notifications. Keep out of my notifications with your shilling, thankyouverymuch. I'm not impressed. At all.

So let me see if I have this correct. You're going to stick paid ads into my notifications because the optional software that you plopped onto the phone that you make, the phone that I paid for, is free, so you want to make money from my viewing my notifications?

And if I don't like it, I can turn off all notifications from the Galaxy Store? As in, all notifications, both valid ("hey, this software has an update"), and ads ("hey, this company paid us money to stick an ad where normally only important notifications go, and we don't have scruples and LOVE money, so there")? Those are my only two options: look at the ads we're paid to show you, or don't receive any notice of software updates?

Really, Samsung? You're serious about this?

Any response to this? My choices are to accept ads in my notifications, or forgo all notifications from the Galaxy store (which might inform me of important updates)?

A response would be appreciated.
