I’m trying to connect my new Samsung 2.0 Ch HW-T400 Soundbar to my older Samsung TV (un32eh4003f model). The TV does not have optical cable capabilities (no input) and the Soundbar does not have an HDMI input. I hooked up my RCA aux chord to both, and thought it may have worked as the light on my Soundbar blinks when I turn the volume up or down with my TV remote. However, no sound comes out from the Soundbar. Is there a way to change this in my TV settings? It seems to have very limited menu options for sound. I’m wondering what my options might be for compatibility?
Hmm... i hope there's a workaround here.. but there audio converters like rca to optical but it will cost you some bucks and at the same time we don't know what sound quality it may bring...

I am also having major issues connecting HW B53C soundvar to my 4 yr old SAMSUNG 55-inch TV. Thought we had it working well, them suddenly, ALL stopped. NO SOUND at all from soundbar any longer... bothbit & TV are connected to samw wifi netwoek, but even Samsung Home tells me that TV is not connected. instructions in manual are NOT well written. IS ANYONE MODERATING OR ANSWERING??? Seems a total waste of money buying the bar
