OthersHi Diane3313,
We are sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue with Android Auto not connecting on your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. Since you mentioned that the Flip 4 did not have this problem, the issue may be related to software compatibility between the newer device and Android Auto.
Please try the below steps and see if it might help to resolve the issue.
Ensure the app is updated to the latest version via the Google Play Store. Go to Settings > Apps > Android Auto and clear the cache and storage for the app. Reopen Android Auto and try to connect again.
Sometimes the USB cable or port may cause connection issues: Try using a different, high-quality USB cable.
Also, we kindly request you to send an error report by following the below steps.
Tap and hold on samsung Members Icon and tap on Error report >> select the category from the below >> Describe the issue and check the option "send system log data" then send.
Thank you.

OthersThank you for getting back to me so quickly. Unfortunately I have tried all your suggestions and am still having this problem. I am very disappointed because I just upgraded to Flip 6 and had no problems whatsoever before.
