OthersI’m reaching out regarding my Samsung Freestyle projector (model: [insert model number if you have it]).
The device powers on, but the screen only displays colored rectangles or blocks—I am unable to see the menu, access settings, or connect the projector to my phone via SmartThings.
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Power cycling the projector
Disconnecting all external devices
Triggering auto-focus and keystone adjustment via remote
Attempting a remote code reset
Using the SmartThings app to access controls (unable to connect)
Despite all of this, the image remains distorted and unusable. I believe the issue may be due to a hardware fault (e.g., image processor or main board), and I’d like to request a repair or replacement.
I've sent the projector to Samsung repair 2x already (both times came back with the exact same issue!).
Does anyone know of any solutions, or is this a faulty machines?
FYI - my warranty expired in March but the issue (sent for repair but sent back to me NOT repaired) was initiated in February (eleventh months into the first year of ownership).
