I ❤️ Keyboard Shortcuts (especially for emojis)

Does anyone know where to find a list of word shortcuts for emojis? For example, when I type cool, the 😎 emoji is suggested. Some are pretty obvious, but others are a mystery...

I know there are likely words for each emoji, but it would be great to see the list for the less obvious ones we each might use exclusively. 🤯🤕😬

I've made a few custom ones in the parameters ;)) I've been using them for years now.

For instance:
sss (for smile) = 😊
ddd (for dog) = 🐶
111 = 1️⃣
Etc., etc.

As you rarely use 3X the same letter, the risk of using the shortcut by mistake is low.

Very cool idea! I just set up: eyeroll = 🙄 (because my kids are playing "Tackle Trouble" since my youngest can't follow the rules or read the rules, and thus resorts to violence to solve her Trouble troubles.) 🙄

Lol, thanks, they're usually pretty good but kids'll be kids. I'll keep playing with those text shortcuts in the Settings, but hopefully Samsung will hear our pleas for this tiny but significant (to us) time saver. 😊

Right! And I wish it worked with other languages as well. Not only the keyboard doesn't suggest any emoji in French, but I even have to switch to English when I want to search for an emoji! A lot of steps just to find an emoji 🙁
Google′s Gboard doesn't have that issue.

Haha, sorry for laughing but you've answered a question I've long had, trying to type random words in French (content, heureux, souriant, sourire, content, frustré!) to see what brings up a smiley face. Thanks for answering that question but désolé si c'est un problème que vous avez rencontré.

Hopefully, Samsung Keyboard can pay better attention to the linguistic needs of their wider audience. 😕

😅🤣😂 ! Yeah, it has become a habit now to switch to the English keyboard before searching for an emoji. Fortunately, that doesn't happen often, but I don't think it should be too difficult for Samsung to tag each emoji!
