My microwave resets overnight and every morning shows 7 seconds and beeps. I have seen other post and have reset the microwave but it always does it again. What is the fix? If so many have the same problem is there a recall, if the answer is no...why not?
Hi Samsung_CJMZULn, If the microwave is beeping when it is not in use, does not stop beeping, or does not stop beeping after pressing the "Stop/Clear" button, please try the following:
Cut power to the microwave by unplugging it or switching off the circuit at the breaker box. After 60 seconds, restore the power. This will reset the memory on the main board. Run the microwave for 30 seconds and allow the timer to run down completely. Once the chime begins, press the "Stop/Clear" button. If the beeping stops, the issue is resolved. Nope none of that works I wake up every morning to 7 seconds and beeping noises I unplugged it left it unplugged started the 7 seconds started 30 seconds I tried everything nothing works kind of annoying
Did you ever find a fix? My Samsung microwave does the same exact thing. We tired everything including cutting power and it randomly still beeps and sets itself with 7 seconds. Glad to hear others have the same issue, I though the house was haunted haha
