Hi! I’d like to suggest two new features for Samsung Notes. I’m not sure if you take these kinds of suggestions into consideration, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

The first one: sometimes, when I add long PDFs to a note and need to search for specific information within that file, the app takes a really long time to process my search. Really long. Much longer than it would take if I were searching using Google Drive’s PDF viewer. So it would be AMAZING (I think it would make the app almost perfect for me) if I could create bookmarks within notes, so that in very long notes I could open a list of bookmarks and click on one to immediately jump to the section I want to view. It’s almost like I’m asking you to let me add post-it notes to a digital note.

The second suggestion is to allow customization of default settings for new notes. Whenever I create a new note, I’ve already set it to have a black background (which is the only thing that can currently be preconfigured for new notes). However, I can’t preset the font color, which always defaults to black, so I always have to manually change it to white. It would be great (and the app would be literally perfect then) if, in addition to the background color, I could also set the default font size and color for new notes.

Hi Members_SCEYM4N,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful suggestions and we absolutely welcome feedback like this, and we truly appreciate how clearly you've outlined your ideas.

We completely understand how helpful it would be to have a bookmark or "post-it note" style system for navigating long notes or imported PDFs. Searching large files can take time, and adding your own bookmarks would definitely make revisiting key sections faster and more intuitive. We’ll be sure to pass it along to our development team for review.
