Odyssey G7 Curved internal screen crack burshed off as physical damage - known problem no warranty!!

I recently bought a 32 inch curved Samsung Odyssey G7 one night it cracked while gaming!!

Samsung said this was physical external damage  to the screen but this monitor was sitting on a desk and this crack appeared while gaming, no touching! So no warranty,.. i need to pay omg! Can you believe this?

Searching the web many people have the same problem, would this be a manufacturer’s defect?

Hi. I bought my Oddysey Neo G7 last week and it came cracked.I assembled the monitor and put in on my desk just to notice a big bubble in the centre of the screen. When I switched it on there was a clear crack in the middle. Box is in nearly perfect condition without any damage. I`ve filled warranty form on their website and now I`m waiting for an answer.

Hi guys, they will wave it off. Those curved screens crack on their own, Samsung wont accept this under warranty... (even when its a production fault). It so unfair.

Maybe you can claim it under DOA (dead on arrival)

The only thing i want is justice, i didnt broke my screen! its a production fault

Hi.I got message from samsung that they will take my monitor and inspect it in one of samsung's service.  Roughly after 10 days they accepted my claim and they will fix it under a warranty. Though they will not replace whole monitor just the screen.(better than nothing i guess)

So im waiting for it to be fixed and shipped to me and i hope it wont crack again.

I dont know if this matters but i live in EU.

in my case Samsung isnt responding to my calls emails or chats.... Samsung are you watching this?
