Samsung 8000 series vertical lines

It's out of warranty but wow no help from samsung.  My 55" ks8000 samsung tv that cost enough screen just turned green. Tried next day and blue and red vertical lines.  Guess it's garbage. This is a well known issue and just because the complaints are on samsung.com and not samsung.ca they don't recognize them!  It's funny I went to furnace room to grab my 15 year old 47" sharp aquos and the screen looks like I just bought it.

Samsung told me my only option was for me to get it repaired at my cost since its out of warranty.
