OthersMy system includes rear wifi satellite speakers. On certain shows/movies the rear speakers deliver excellent sound quality for immersive sound. But most of the time when watching TV (on a Samsung QLED 65" 2018) or listening to music (Sirius, Spotify etc) the speakers have absolutely no sound. The blue lights are solid so connection is there. Should these speakers always have some sound level regardless of what you are listening to? I know when I bought them the demo in the store had sound from the rear speakers for music. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OthersHi DRO58, As it is working fine with some apps so no issues with the rear speakers. Please check with the app support like Netflix app support, music app support so that they will help you further.

OthersHi Brantley, thanks for your feedback. I believe the connections are all in place. The soundbar and rear speakers work on certain shows example Netflix Working Moms I get the full surround sound experience. Are there only certain shows that utilize the rear speakers/surround sound? What about music - shouldn't there be full sound coming form the rear speakers? The soundbar works perfectly all the time - the rear speakers only seem to work on specific shows/films. Thanks again for your input.

OthersJust a follow-up to Helena's comments.....I was able to connect with a Samsung tech support person. We went through a few different diagnostics over the phone with no improvement on sound form rear wifi speakers. His only suggestion was that the rear speakers only worked with certain content on videos, streaming, cable/satellite tv etc. If he is correct, then essentially my rear speakers are more or less paperweights for the majority of the time, especially when listening to music or music videos where no sound at all is present. This just does not make sense and certainly is not how the demo was when I made the in store purchase.
I have seen other posts that had same/similar issues but did not see a solution. Any help is appreciated.

OthersAfter 4 years of wondering why my rear speakers did not engage on many tv shows etc, I think I stumbled on my own solution. The audi setting on the TV were set on "stereo" - the other 2 options were "surround sound" and "enhanced surround sound" - I selected "enhanced" and voila the rear speakers are now functioning as best I can tell on all tv and streaming shows. Music not so much but I guess it is only a stereo signal to begin with?
Anyway here is a useful article I found online
