Samsung Range Repairs

I purchased a Samsung range oven model NE59J7630SS/AC in June 2018 but just over my 5 years extended warranty, I noticed the burner light is still on even I had turned the knob to off position.   the range burner is turned off but the light is still on probably the switch contact was lossened.  Moreover, there was flickering light at the back of my LCD display panel.  So, I checked with the Service dept and the contractor told me that to replace the switch is is $199.32 and to replace the display control it is $259.40 and then plus the $200 labour + tax, the total comes to $744.35.  The Range is just over 5 years old and it's already having problems and to fix these 2 minor issues, it costs almost half the price of a new Range or more if you go for a lower model Range.

I dont know whether the community has similar issues but when I searched google & you tube, a lot of people are having similar problems with the switch & display, meaning that it is a very common problem with the Samsung Range.

So, really want to know whether anyone has any cheaper solution for the above or just let it be until it does not work and change for another one, but for sure not Samsung anymore!

I have always believed that Samsung is a very reliable and durable brand until now...honestly, very disappointed!
