Hi,

I have bought a combo of Top Loader Washing machine & Front Door Dryer. My problem is with the Top Loading Washing machine.

The model is : wa50t7455av

I got the washer in August 2020 and it never managed to this day to complete a cycle of Self Clean. It always get stuck a 1:16H left and never goes further. It's half full of water, the Door Lock Icon is red, the wash icon is blinking, Rinse & Spin are steady blue and there's no error code.

I've let it do it's thing for hours .. even a full day and it never got passed 1:16H on the countdown.

Sometimes, after 30-40min of idling at 1:16H, the tub will be flush & the door will unlock. The time left don't move, nothing else happens and the washer stays ON.

The tub is empty when I start the cycle, Hot water is plugged in and open.

I honestly have no idea what I can try to fix this.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Thank you for your answer.

I'll do that soon, just need to find the right time on my schedule to do it.

SOLVED

I did the claim request.
It took a month or so to have a repair tech to call me to schedule an appointment.
A month after the call, he came to check it out and ordered a new Electronic Module.
Two Months later, he came back to change it.
Now the Self Clean cycle continues after 1H16 and the countdown moves on.
Before, at 1H16, you could hear a "Tonk" noise every 20sec or so. Now, instead of that noise, the tub move slowly from left to right, moving the water inside.

The tech said he did a couple claims exactly like mine. Seems to be a common problem on this model.

Finger crossed that nothing else happen since my One Year Warranty is now over!
