I am extremely upset at the translucency and fuzz-focus feature of the drop-down notification shade. I have autism and it is very difficult for me to dismiss visual noise. This doesn't "look cool" for me, it is hugely distracting and makes me very angry almost every single time I have to use my phone. Translucency is NEVER acceptable in a UI, unless there is also a setting to disable it. I just need plain, normal solid colour backgrounds. I simply can't "ignore" the layer of distracting digital litter under what I am trying to look at. It takes me a lot of conscious mental effort every single time. I didn't ask for this. I did not consent to this. I demand that Samsung provide a way to disable this horrible UI.
