WhatsApp Media showing broken image in gallery, and can't delete it either

i have problem with my gallery, it won't show my WhatsApp media, it just showing broken image, i can't open it and can't even delete it. 

itstarted a few days ago and it used to be normal, and when i try to go to Android>media>com.whatsapp there's nothing in there, oh and my  WhatsApp media visibility is on

Hi, Please follow the steps given below.

1. Open the File Manager on your phone and go to Settings

2. Now enable the ‘Show Hidden Media Files’ option and get back to your phone’s internal storage 3. Find the WhatsApp folder and open it and go to Media > WhatsApp Images.

4. Now delete the nomedia file from here. If needed, delete the file from the Private and Sent folder as well.

hello, i tried that already, and still nothing in WhatsApp folder, and there's no whatsapp folder anywhere else

and oh I'm using galaxy M52 5G btw

Hi, We suggest you to check for the latest version of WhatsApp and then update to the latest version. Restart your device and check if this fixes the issue.

hello, my WhatsApp is already the latest version, and i already tried to restart my phone, oh and i just checked my phone's software update, it was updated at 8 march, is it possibly a bug?

Hi, If possible install any third party Gallery app on the device and check if WhatsApp Media shows in that app. If you have same issue then we suggest you to check with WhatsApp support once.

Hi i have the same problem after installing latest samsung update february,before the update whatsapp pics and videos had no problems showing on the gallery

The files are now broken and unable to delete

They do show up on google photos as normal though

Got the latest version and everything

Also using m52 5g!

File manager is also unable to delete it 

I have to manually search the file name and connect my phone to pc to delete it through pc

Hi, I am using the same model, and facing this issue from last 3 days, Tried all the possible ways but couldn't succeed..

Similar problem. Tried all the suggested steps but to no avail. And most importantly its the same phone. Galaxy M52 5G!!

Please resolve this. It's a great phone but its frustrating when basic things get bugged.
