When did the Direct Messages option appear in my account?

This is odd.  For the longest time there was no such "Direct Messages" option at all.  And then just moments ago, I noticed that I now have "Direct Messages" underneath "Notifications" and before "My subscriptions".  It took 31 comments give or take a couple before I noticed it.

When all the mods were mentioning about sending DMs by clicking on Direct Messages on the top right, I was like, where is this?  I looked everywhere and there was no such option.  The only way to send a DM was to click on the actual person and send it.

It seems silly that the DM option wasn't enabled until about after 30 comments.  Most people usually register to get on the forums for a problem or question answered and they don't stay long enough to make 30 comments.

So, if any of you are confused about why you don't see the Direct Messages option that the mods refer to, well, there's the answer.

I suspect it's because you "leveled up." Beginners don't have the option to send DMs until they hit Active lvl 1.

Hi macer1, In the Samsung Community Members, you don't find the option to send DM(direct message) when your'e in the Beginner Level.

However, if we have sent you a DM, you are able to reply back to us by clicking on the Message icon at the top right(Samsung Members) >> Inbox >> Reply to the DM (Direct Message).
