Hear me out, i am always a samsung user since i can remember. My first smartphone was "Galaxy Y Young" and if you know that product, it means you are quite old right now. Since then, i always use Samsung smartphone, from "Ace 3", "J5 Prime", and recently i use "A50".

When i say "bad" it is not like their product is bad or anything, because i am quite sure Samsung is company that try to prioritise UX than specifications, *even though their product releases before 2019 had janky software, but yeah still.*

But it seems like samsung really never know what their market is, and try to just blasting the products from high to low end specs, and that obviously impacts the end result in general. It's simple logic that, how could you make all products great, when you release 100 different types of smartphone in a calendar year. The results are the products especially in middle to low end, are absolutely pricey but absolutely cheap-feel. Just compare Galaxy A53 to another

Not only that, Samsung also dont know how to name the smartphones. TBH, i quite like it back in 2019, when the naming stuff seemed better than previous releases, there are no adding words, no lite version, just straight the series of the smartphone like "A50, A70, A30, A20, S10" and so on. Not only that we know that "A50s" is newer and little better than "A50", "A70" is bigger than "A50" and stuffs. Everthing seems clean and we as user really know the products capabilities just based on products' names.

BUT WHY IN 2020, JUST A YEAR AFTER, everything just back to 2016. There are S10 Lite that absolutely doesn't feel like Galaxy S, There are FE series now that really kill the Galaxy A Lineup, and even, HOW GALAXY A03s IS RELEASED BEFORE THE GALAXY A03. How can we call it 's' when we do not have comparison with the original product, than what is the meaning of 's' word in it.

And all of this because Samsung just blatanly choose to not care about segmentation market on their product in middle to low end. Samsung doesnt even know, what Galaxy A and Galaxy M is, *if you say M is only for online-sale, in Indonesia, i could really see Samsung retail store sell the Galaxy M Series* Recently they turned Galaxy S Ultra Series to their "Galaxy Note" with absolutely different design to the rest of Galaxy S Series. And it just shows that Samsung do not know what is the meaning of "Ultra" naming in their products.

I know that all the Chinese Brands do the same too, just sell hundreds of different types of smartphone without clear segmentation.

But,we expect different from Samsung. Samsung's level is so much ahead than all chinese brands. we really never see such a big comparison with samsung and oppo's of the world. We see direct comparison like Samsung with Apple, Samsung with Google, because samsung are on different level, but what they do know is just identical with chinese brand.

When we look at the Google Pixels and Apple iPhones, we know that Pixel 6A is much less than Pixel 6 whether it's the specs or the price, we know that Pixel Buds much more capable than Pixel Buds-A we know that SE Lineups is less than Regulars and Pros. We know M1 Ultra is much crazier than M1 Pro and so on.

So the conclusion is, even though your products is great, it doesn't define the quality of the products if you do not know what are you gonna do with them. You have to know what your market is, the clear segmentation, even the naming stuffs must define the product itself. Samsung is the perfect example of this. And i hope in the future, there will be fewer of Galaxy A, and i know Galaxy A5x is better than A3x, Galaxy A54s is newer than Galaxy A54 and so on.
