Not working recent Android OS 15 & UI7 update. Specifically in Call of Duty Mobile, as an example. It used to work very well. Now the pointer show up and can be moved around, but you cannot select anything. I contacted Call of Duty ( Activision ), and they said it is a Samsung Dex bug. Samsung chat Tech support reconfirmed that it is a Dex bug, and was advised to report it here. Looking forward to a fix.

We’re sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with Samsung DeX compatibility in Call of Duty: Mobile.

This functionality was working correctly prior to the recent Android 15 / One UI 7 update. Unfortunately, it appears that changes to the OS and DeX layer have impacted how input is handled in certain games particularly Call of Duty: Mobile, where the pointer is visible but unable to interact with game elements.

We’ll escalate this concern internally to the Samsung software team for further investigation. In the meantime, we recommend the following:

  • Ensure all related apps (such as Game Booster and Samsung DeX services) are fully updated via the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.

  • Use touch input on the device screen as a temporary workaround during gameplay.

  • Monitor upcoming One UI software updates or DeX patches, which may address this issue.

Wait why would Samsung Tech Support being AWARE that this is a Samsung Dex (a 1st party sofrware) ask YOU the end user to report it in Samsung Members?!

Sorry I've worked 18yrs as Service Desk Tech Suport for various industries (Financial, Mining, and Tech, and It Research) ans NEVER ONCE did I, colleagues, nor management ever even thought of asking an affected client/user to report a KNOWN issue amongst the community of others which the IT department suports!

No wonder there is such a backlash of IT suport for consumer issues posted in every country's Samsung Members board that's growing in negativity.

If you need a new IT Lead that can set new policies, live and breathe them, work with the existing team to implement them, stands by them, and can make the majority of end users happier and leading to more loyal and larger user base over time by proving such better support communications, policies, and resolutions work by increasing customer satisfaction ... I'd be very honored to bepart of the team!

BTW that's a great game and LOADs of fun on Dex. Since the uodate haven't yet tried and it'll take me a few weeks as I've got a big set of plans in progress but would love to see how this progresses and gets resolved.
