So i sloved the issue where my usb c to hdmi wire would only work with dex on and only on my phone
The issue was that my monitor had freesync enable and this made the image on screen mirror very glitchy and distort
Once turned off everything was back to normal on my samsung 1080p monitor and it works with both the tab s9 ultra and s24 ultra so it must work for other models too
So for people using screen mirror for gaming just make sure you dont have freesync turn on into your monitor settings you can only turn it on if you are using samsung DeX classic or the new samsung DeX on tablets but now with screen mirroring

i use it to monitor my stream via my s24 ultra while i game with the tab s9 ultra
but it be cool if the old dex station from 2017 supported the tablet via usb c female to male im curently using it with a powered usb hub to have all my gaming studio connected to the tablet and everything works but the hdmi port seem to be only supported by phones
no matter if i use the wire or not it works both ways with a phone but forget standing the tablet on the dex station it obviously made to sit a phone only but wire wise the hdmi should still work on the dex station when the tab s9 ultra is connected to it via wire
